BIOGRAPHY

Professor Festus Oluseyi Oderanti is a Full Professor of Computer Science and Program Director for BSc and MSc Information Technology at Liberty University, Virginia, USA.


He previously served as Senior Lecturer and Programme Director at the University of Hertfordshire and the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom. He holds BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees in Computer Science, as well as an MBA and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. His research interests span information systems, knowledge management, project management, decision-making under uncertainty, and the commercial sustainability of eHealth innovations for aging populations. Professor Oderanti’s work integrates business and computing perspectives to advance digital transformation and strategic innovation. He has collaborated with leading organizations across the eHealth, manufacturing, retail, and public sectors, and has participated in major UK and EU-funded research projects. He is a Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS), the Association for Project Management (FAPM), and a Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE). He is also a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). A seasoned academic and researcher, Professor Oderanti has delivered keynote addresses and chaired sessions at numerous international conferences across Europe, Asia, and North America. He has published extensively in leading journals and serves on editorial boards including the Journal of Business Research and Journal of Innovation and Knowledge.
