The 2025 5th International Multidisciplinary Information Technology and Engineering Conference (IMITEC 2025) marks the fifth edition of this dynamic, development-driven, and collaboration focussed research platform. It is scheduled to be hosted in Pretoria, South Africa, by Tshwane University of Technology in partnership with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in November 2025.

IMITEC 2025 promises to deliver a high-quality international forum that brings together leading researchers, academics, and industry professionals to explore and discuss cutting-edge research, innovative practices, and emerging trends across a wide spectrum of disciplines. Key focus areas include – but are not limited to – Computer Science, Computer System Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology in Education and Business Informatic. Participants will gain exposure to the latest advancements and ongoing developments in these interdisciplinary domains. The conference also provides a platform for the exchange of novel ideas, collaboration opportunities, and knowledge sharing between academia and industry.

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research for possible presentation at the conference. Submissions featuring new and transformative ideas are especially encouraged. All papers will undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure a high standard of quality and relevance, contributing to engaging and thought-provoking sessions. All accepted and presented papers will be published in IMITEC 2025 proceedings and submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scopes and quality requirements, thereby ensuring global visibility and acceptability.
